All students interested in being considered for membership in one of the active NPHC organizations are required to attend NPHC Convocation as a condition of participation in a membership intake program. Convocation attendance requirements must be renewed each academic year. It is suggested that students attend convocation in the semester that they plan to participate in the membership intake process.  A make-up Convocation is offered, but is only eligible to students who missed due to a class or documented illness. There is a $5 fee to attend Convocation and all proceeds will benefit the NPHC S.T.R.O.N.G. Scholarship Fund.
