| 2013 NPHC Spring Convocation Hosted semesterly, NPHC Convocation provides interested students with information about the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) fraternities and sororities at UA. Topics will include membership requirements and the benefits of joining Greek Life. Convocation also provides an opportunity for the Office of Greek Affairs to discuss important information about hazing guidelines as well as the various guidelines specific to joining an organization at UA. All students interested in being considered for membership in one of the active NPHC organizations are required to attend NPHC Convocation as a condition of participation in a membership intake program. Convocation attendance requirements must be renewed each academic year. It is suggested that students attend convocation in the semester that they plan to participate in the membership intake process. A make-up Convocation is offered, but is only eligible to students who missed due to a class or documented illness. There is a $5 fee to attend Convocation and all proceeds will benefit the NPHC S.T.R.O.N.G. Scholarship Fund.
